Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Home Help Care Services handles personal information. It applies to this website and to enquiries made by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Last updated: 28 September 2026.
Who we are
The data controller is HOME HELP CARE LIMITED, company number 12412641, registered in England and Wales.
Registered office: Rothersthorpe House, 4 Billing Road, Northampton, NN1 5AN.
Trading name: Home Help Care Services.
You can contact us about this policy by phone or WhatsApp on 07401 673137, or by email at homehelpcareagency@gmail.com.
The information we collect
We collect information you give us when you ask about care, including:
- your name and relationship to the person who may receive care
- phone number and, if you use it, WhatsApp number
- email address, if you write to us
- the home address where care would be provided
- details of the support you are asking for, such as days, times and the type of care
- health or care information you choose to share so we can discuss suitable support
- messages you send by WhatsApp or email
- call records at a basic level (number, time and duration), where our phone provider stores them
If you telephone, message or email us, we hold what you send so we can reply and, if you ask us to, arrange care.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- answer enquiries and discuss care at home
- visit the right address and provide the care that has been agreed
- send times, prices and follow-up messages by call, WhatsApp or email
- keep a record of care provided, invoices and payments
- meet legal duties, including CQC requirements, tax and accounting
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to send bulk marketing.
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
We process personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. The bases we rely on are:
- Contract - to discuss care, agree a package and provide the service you asked for
- Legitimate interests - to reply to enquiries, keep basic business records and run the company
- Legal obligation - where CQC, tax, accounting or other law requires us to keep records
- Vital interests - where we need to share information to protect someone's life or safety
Health and care information is special category data. We process it only where it is needed to provide health or social care, or where you have clearly given it to us so we can discuss support.
Who we share it with
We only share information where it is needed to run the service, for example:
- our phone, WhatsApp and email providers, who carry the messages you send
- our website host, which stores this site
- an accountant or bookkeeper, for invoices and tax
- the Care Quality Commission, local authority or NHS, where the law or a care arrangement requires it
- the police or another regulator, if the law requires it
WhatsApp is provided by Meta. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, Meta will also process that conversation under its own terms. You can call or email instead if you prefer not to use WhatsApp.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages that do not lead to a care arrangement are usually deleted within 12 months. Care, invoice and payment records are kept for up to six years after the last visit, which is the period we need for tax, accounting and care regulation. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Cookies and this website
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and to keep the site working. Those logs are not used to profile you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it if it is wrong
- ask us to delete it, in certain cases
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask for it to be transferred to you or another organisation, where the law allows
- withdraw consent, if we ever rely on consent for a specific use
To use these rights, call or WhatsApp 07401 673137 or email homehelpcareagency@gmail.com. We may need to check who you are before we release information.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection.
ICO website: www.ico.org.uk. Helpline: 0303 123 1113.
Children
We provide care to children and young people when a parent, guardian or authorised person arranges it. We process a child's information only as far as it is needed to discuss and provide that care. This website is not aimed at children using it on their own.
